The construction industry is beginning to recognize the full potential for utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM). By using 3D modeling-based design with collaborative partners, contractors, architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders are able to create, manage, problem solve, and execute their projects in a pre-construction environment significantly reducing the need for costly rework in the field.
ASC Engineering has utilized the BIM environment and provided solutions for coordinated seismic bracing of non-structural components within multiple project settings including modeling piping systems for stress analysis and building custom Revit families. We provide full coordination with clash detection and collaborative conflict resolution with our project partners.
